The Early Learning Tutor provides High Dose Tutoring (HDT) in reading and literacy for students in grades K-3. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based, systematic instruction rooted in the Science of Reading, emphasizing phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The goal is to accelerate literacy development through small group sessions (1:4 staff-to-student ratio or less), delivered consistently and tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Todos Juntos is seeking a part-time Bilingual (Spanish/English) K-3 Literacy Tutor (in-person) for our after school STEAM/Literacy programs in Canby. for 20-21 weeks total from Jan. 12-March 19, 2026 and March 30-June 5, 2026.

This job will be 12 to 20 hours per week, Part time, Hourly - After School. The tutor MUST be able to work in person in Canby from 3:00 to 5:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 2:00 to 4:00pm on Wednesdays. (Preferably from 2:00 to 5:00 M, T, Th and 1:00 to 4:00 on Wed. if possible). The other work hours (in-person) are more flexible (for a minimum of 12 to a maximum 20 hours total per week (depending on candidate preferences and availability).

This position will be responsible for facilitating literacy tutoring in Spanish and English for very small groups of students in grades 1-3 using multi-sensory, active-learning strategies, and facilitating other early literacy programming and/or parent education workshops and family/community events as needed.
